Obiano Promises Scholarship for Agric Courses at Anambra Poly
The Anambra state government is to offer scholarship to students who wish to enroll into the various agricultural Courses in the Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu. Gov Willie Obiano who announced this at the Headquarters of Awka North Local Government Area, Achalla during the inauguration of his reelection campaign in the Council Area, said the funds for the scholarship has been factored into the 2018 state budget. The governor who was accompanied on the flag off by his wife, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano and members of his campaign train, was during the event, conferred with the Chieftaincy title of Ugonwanne Awka North. The title which was unanimously conferred on the governor by the Council of Traditional Rulers of Awka North, was for exposing the people to windows of opportunities that abound in agric production and exportation, which had given them financial stability.
