Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon, once again surpassed Bill Gates on Friday to become the richest person in the world. After Amazon reported its third-quarter earnings on Thursday — handily beating analysts’ estimates for earnings and revenue — Bezos regained his title as world’s richest person, a title he claimed once before last July. Bezos now has a net worth of roughly $90.6 billion.

A Nigerian couple set to get married has won the hearts of everyone. The groom shared a post about their love story and it got everyone tripping. A Nigerian man identified as Excel-galaxy Ajah Anayo has shared his amazing story on Facebook. The young man talked about how he met the love of his life and how God had placed her in his environment from the beginning. According to Anayo, he had met Amara when they both got admission the same year into the same school. They attended the same fellowship in Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) and did not stop running into each other at various points in time. Anayo who was trying to be brief with the story also revealed that they both did their internship in the same company and graduated same year again. Academic standards in Kogi State University have taken a deadly tumble following allegations that  National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members have been recruited to teach in the institution following the mass sacking of over 100 teaching staff. The crises rocking the institution has taken a dangerous dimension as the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) said that the management of the institution has resorted to using NYSC members and non teaching staff to teach first degree courses and supervise students projects. According to the union, this follows the mass sacking of one hundred and twenty members of the academic staff after the proscription of academic staff union of universities ASUU-KSU through a proclamation by the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello last July.
